Kari Preston

Children and Family Pastor

Kari answered the call to full time children's ministry in August 2015. Kari and her husband, Pastor Justin, serve over our children and family ministries. Kari left a career in education where she had been serving as a middle/high school physical education and bible teacher for two years. In 2012, she graduated from the University of North Florida with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management: Community Sport. She absolutely loves sports, especially basketball. She has also served as a staff member for nearby summer camps all over Jacksonville for the past 8 summers.

Kari has a huge passion for the gospel of Jesus and serving children of all ages in a various types of environments. Since answering the call to full time children's ministry, she is extremely excited to pursue the path that God has laid out for her life. Kari is currently going through the ordination process and looks forward to the future Jesus has instore for her and Justin. With a tremendous amount of faithfulness to the kingdom of God, Kari is overwhelmed with joy for the privilege in serving the children and families at Northside Church of God each week.
